Alaska Sea Kayakers offers sea kayak rentals and ancillary gear to experienced kayakers with an achievable paddle plan.
Alaska
Sea Kayakers now offers drysuits to individuals and private parties. We strongly
recommend that each renter, at the least, keep a drysuit available in their
kayak. We have priced them so that everyone can afford one with their Alaska
kayak rentals, to enhance the safety of unguided kayak trips.
Prince William Sound is a temperate rainforest environment. All incursions into the Sound must be prepared for rain for the duration of your paddle. Cold water immersion issues, variable conditions, as well as the remote setting of Prince William Sound can necessitate the use of drysuits. Bring your own, or we will rent one to you.
Renters who present a British Canoe Union 2 Star, or an American Canoe Association Coastal Kayaking Participation card will receive a 10% discount on all rented items.

Rental Cancellation Policy
Full refund of total deposit if canceled 21 days prior to trip departure date. No refund of total deposit if canceled less then 21 days prior to trip departure date.
Damage Policy
Dry suit repair:
Neck gasket $80
Wrist gasket $64
Soft sock $70
Tears: <4" $20
Tears: >4" up to suit replacement
Tears on or through any seam will require drysuit replacement
Suit replacement $425
ALL gear will be fully inspected prior to departure and on return. A signed credit card imprint is required for all rentals. Renters are responsible for the replacement cost of all rented gear. Fiberglass repair will be charged at $60 per hour with a 2 hour minimum.
Allow one hour for gear check and orientation prior to your scheduled departure.
